NAP + BEDTIME ROUTINE

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Ergobaby.

Hey mamas!

Some of the things I’ve gotten asked a lot lately is does Savannah sleep through the night and how is she with naps? I’ve been breastfeeding her for more than 2 years now and I’m trying to wean her since her baby brother is coming in December! As much as I love nursing her, it’s been the only way she can fall asleep. I’ve been looking for a better solution and I’m so excited to share with you all my thoughts on the new Ergobaby On-The-Move Sleeping Bag! This sleep sack really makes naps and her bedtime routine much easier for me and also allows her to fall asleep faster since she can’t move as much.

When Savannah was a newborn to about 12 months old, we always used a sleeping bag at night because she has eczema and tends to scratch in her sleep. I’m so happy that Ergobaby has made larger size sleeping bags since the ones I used before went up to 12 months only. The On-The-Move Sleeping Bag comes in 2 different sizes: (6-18 months + 18-36 months) as well as a variety of cute prints for girls, boys, and unisex. I really love that it’s made of ultra-soft and breathable 100% premium cotton. It’s super soft to the touch and doesn’t irritate Savannah’s sensitive skin.

The sleeping bag has so many smart features with mamas in mind:

  • convertible feet so baby can move from sleep to play-time or from car seat to crib (also comes in handy with your little one starts to walk!)

  • adjustable to grow with baby; tailor fit the sleep bag to your baby by using the adjustable straps and adjustable legs.

  • easy diaper changes: two-way zipper allows for quick access.

  • seat belt slot for easy travel in stroller or car seat.

Overall, this sleeping bag has so many benefits and has improved Savannah’s nap and bedtime routine. She was playing in it before her nap and once I told her it was time to sleep, she ended up napping for 2.5 hours! Sometimes her naps will only be about 45 minutes…and I can’t get anything done! But I was able to finish up my work while she was sleeping and once she woke up, she was able to move freely in her sleeping bag since I used the convertible feet feature! :)

I hope you all will check out the new Ergobaby sleeping bags and if you do, please let me know how it works out for your baby! I’m so excited to be using the smaller size for her baby brother when he arrives this coming Winter! There’s nothing better than babies who sleep through the night…us mamas definitely need all the sleep we can get!

xo,

Hailey
